Motorists in Leamington are being warned about a series of parking scams operating in the area.

The Council has once more identified several Pay and Display machines in council-operated parking areas in Leamington as being marked with stickers that guide drivers to fraudulent websites.

A similar warning was issued about the parking scams back in April 2025.

Warwick County Council has advised caution to motorists when scanning any QR codes that appear on Pay and Display machines, which may not be derived from the Council.

The RingGo parking app and cash payments can be used at Pay and Display machines to pay for parking, as opposed to illegitimate codes on the machines.
