A rising number of reports concerning suspected drug dealing and anti-social behaviour on a street in Leamington have been received by the police.
Over the past couple of days, residents have expressed concerns about disruptive activities occurring in and around Princes Street in the town.
As a result, a team of officers enaged with local residents while on patrol yesterday (8 July), some of whom said they no longer felt comfortable walking their usual routes, whether for school or dog walking.'
Taking to Facebook, Leamington Police shared: "That simply isn't acceptable. Everyone should feel safe in their own community.
"A huge thank you to everyone who stopped to speak to us. We genuinely care about making a difference, but we can only target the right places if you keep talking to us.
"Sometimes neighbourhood policing is a longer game. It takes persistence, intelligence, visible patrols and a community that's willing to work alongside us. Together, we can make these areas feel safe and welcoming again.
"If you see us out and about, please come and say hello. Every conversation helps. "
