An exciting new opportunity for writers is coming to Leamington Spa.

A new coffee morning for writers in the town is launching this September.

Held on every second Friday of the month,

'Prose and Pastries' will offer an inspiring space to write at a refurbished 19th-century church, The Fold, or an opportunity to connect with other writers, whilst also enjoying unlimited tea and coffee with pastries provided.

The sessions run from 10.30 am-12pm and standard tickets cost £15.00.

Organisers said: "The mornings offer a sweet bite-sized version of a secret writing retreat and aim to build a supportive writing community here in Leamington.

"Whether you are a seasoned writer or just getting started, everyone is welcome."

The first session will take place on Friday, 12 September and early bird tickets are available for the first four bookings at the cheaper price of £12.00.
