For the past ten years, the Foundry Wood Wellbeing Group has been quietly transforming lives through nature-based activities that support recovery from addiction, mental health challenges, and physical health struggles.

From small beginnings, ARC's Wellbeing in Nature group has grown into two thriving weekly sessions that offer connection, creativity, and community for adults seeking support on their wellbeing journey.

To celebrate, today (15 July), ARC are hosting a day of celebration and reflection, taking place from 10am to 3pm at Foundry Wood, near the Recycling Centre, Leamington Spa.

Organisers said: "Whether you're a long-time member, a health professional supporting others, or simply curious about how nature-based peer support can help, all are welcome.

"Expect a relaxed, informal atmosphere with friendly faces, gentle conversation, storytelling, skill sharing, and plenty of nature-inspired crafts. Plus refreshments and celebratory cake!"

No booking is required, and visitors can drop in any time between 10am and 3pm.

For health workers, this is a great opportunity to see firsthand how regular outdoor peer support groups can complement recovery pathways and promote lasting wellbeing for those supported by health workers.

Foundry Wood Wellbeing was founded by Tree Johnston in 2015.

She shared the group: "comes from a loving kindness towards people and a desire to want them to live a better life and a more enjoyable life."
