A business in Leamington became the scene of a robbery involving what appeared to be a firearm on Wednesday (25 February).

During the incident, a staff member was reportedly threatened by an individual at the premises on Clarendon Street shortly before 1pm.

The assailant left the shop with an undisclosed amount of cash put into a bag.

The individual is described as wearing jeans, a black top, and a black hat. His face was covered during the incident.

Investigations are ongoing and Warwickshire Police is keen to hear from anyone who can help.
