Famous thriller author Lee Child visited Leamington Library on May 26 to discuss his career.

Child, best known for his Jack Reacher series, spoke to a packed audience about his best-selling novels, his inspirations for writing, and the importance libraries have had on his life and career.

The event attracted readers and fans from across the region to Leamington, with the author personally greeting attendees before the talk, making the event even more special.

Cllr Mike Bannister, customer and localities, said : "Events like this highlight the vital role libraries play as vibrant community spaces, bringing people together through a shared love of reading and storytelling."

A filmed Q&A session was also recorded and uploaded to the library's channel for those unable to attend.
