A46 lane closure for HS2 works coming this weekend

HS2 has confirmed more disruption to the A46 this weekend
The southbound carriageway will see a lane closure on Saturday (6 June) near the Stoneleigh junction.
The closure will be in place from 12am to 11pm.
HS2 said it is needed for "minor earthworks on the verge of A46 bridge".
"All our work is subject to final consent from National Highways," a statement added.
Warwickshire County Council has also recently announced closures around the Stoneleigh junction.
The first closure was scheduled to take place last weekend but was postponed.
Further dates are earmarked for:
- 26 June and 29 June 2026
- 3 July and 6 July 2026
- 25 July and 26 July 2026
