The successful candidate will contribute to the assembly of low volume, high value driveline systems for a variety of customers.
Knowledge and Experience
- Assembly and test skills with complex mechanical products.
- Intermediate level of PC and general computer skills - a good working knowledge of MS office.
- Ability to use measurement equipment such as vernier, micrometer.
- Familiarity with problem solving tools such as 8D, for investigation and resolution of quality issues.
- Experience of supporting investigations and contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
- Able to manage time effectively and prioritises tasks to meet set deadlines.
- Great attention to detail while following quality, health and safety procedures, and implementing good judgment to make appropriate decisions.
Desirable
- Some knowledge of LN system (ERP software for manufacturing).
- Can read and understand / interpret technical drawings / CAD models.
