About the Role

Our well-established third-party haulier based in Rugby, is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV drivers for local and nationwide deliveries. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking consistent and long-term work with the potential for permanent placement.

Shift Information

• Start times between 05 00
• Shifts average 810 hours
• Start date: Immediately

Key Responsibilities

• Local and national deliveries using tail-lift equipment
• Palletised collection and delivery using electric pump trucks
• Kerbside deliveries only no handball involved
• Handling various stock types as a third-party haulier
• Use of PDA systems for tracking and managing jobs
• Flexibility to drive Class 2 vehicles when required (paid at Class 1 rate)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience driving Class 1 vehicles
• Maximum of 3 penalty points for minor driving offences
• Valid manual and automatic HGV licence
• Familiarity with PDA systems
• Flexibility and reliability
