Overview

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Truck Drivers to join our team. This position is offering consistent work, competitive pay, and varied trailer work including box trailers, refrigeration units, and curtain side trailers.

Shift Details

• Average Shift Duration:11 hours
• Start Times:
• Evening: 16 00
• Morning: 02 00
• Movements per Shift:24 trailer movements
• Trailer Types:Flatbed, Box, Refrigerated, Curtain Side

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Perform 24 deliveries or collections per shift.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Load and secure cargo when necessary.
• Complete and maintain delivery paperwork and logs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and HGV driving regulations.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding any issues, delays, or incidents.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• Minimum 12 months of recent Class 1 driving experience
• Strong knowledge of UK road laws and safe driving practices
• Ability to handle physical aspects of the role, including securing loads
• Flexibility to work various start times, including nights and weekends
• Strong work ethic and reliability
