Network Consultant - 6 months - Leamington Spa

We're currently working with one of our key partners who are looking to recruit a Network Consultant for an initial 6-Month contract. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead resolution of P1/P2 network incidents
• Troubleshoot complex network issues (routing, switching, wireless, DNS, Firewalls, SD-WAN, cloud)
• Act as technical lead and SME for all network-related issues
• Design and maintain network infrastructure, documentation, and architecture diagrams
• Proactively monitor network performance and implement improvements
• Create SOPs, traffic flow maps, and service improvement plans
• Own and drive problem management and risk mitigation
• Liaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure rapid issue resolution
• Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning
• Mentor junior engineers and support wider IT teams

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 10-12 years of hands-on networking experience
• CCNP (required), CCIE (preferred)
• Deep knowledge of Cisco tech, Fortinet, Firewalls, F5, DNS/DHCP
• Proficient with network analysis tools (eg, Wireshark, SolarWinds)
• Strong understanding of ITIL (v3 or v4 certification preferred)
• Excellent communication and incident leadership skills
• Experience working in high-pressure, SLA-driven environments
• Customer-focused, team-oriented, and proactive attitude

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Determination: Inside IR35
• Day Rate: £450 Per Day - £500 Per Day
• Location: Leamington Spa
• Start Date: ASAP
