Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:Senior Software Integration Engineer - 34/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire - 10 Months (potential for yearly renewal)Duties:We are looking for a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join our client's Door Systems - Body Closures department. Within this position you will be responsible for leading the technical development, delivery, and design of electrical and software engineering products for new luxury vehicle programmes. As a Senior Software Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for managing design verification test plans and ensuring that the Hardware & Software commodity plan is delivered according to schedule, budget, and quality standards. You will also be in charge of maintaining the Worldwide Engineering Release System.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the future of door mechanisms in luxury vehicles as part of a developing team.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:- gathering functional, diagnostic and cyber security requirements to define HW/SW technical specification and SWeSOW- delivery of the HW/SW commodity plan to quality, cost and time, including maintaining the Worldwide Engineering Release System- managing SW delivery plan and SW maturity with suppliers- managing Change Request, SW/HW Releases, Expenditure forecasting and the relevant supplier teams in support of delivery of the programme milestones.- manage design verification test plans, including detailed planning of test and development stages through to sign off and support Engineering test teams with rectification of issues.- ensure all appropriate client standards are met through-out design maturation and provide input into new feature development.
