A Snapshot of Your Day: As a Senior Operations Buyer, you will be at the heart of our procurement activities, ensuring that we meet our business targets efficiently.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing a diverse supplier portfolio while driving initial part sourcing activities.

  • Managing a work queue to ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Collaborating closely with internal customers (MRPCs, requisitioners) to provide top-notch customer care and early involvement in processes.
  • Contributing to the implementation of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to enhance process efficiency and compliance.
  • Supporting Supplier Management processes, including qualification, selection, evaluation, and classification.
  • Maintaining records of all documentation and ensuring adherence to online purchasing and contract management systems.
  • Leading or supporting Procurement Business Plan activities.

What You Bring: To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Strong SAP Transactional Experience: Familiarity with the PS1ATLAS module in a production environment is essential.
  • Outstanding Excel Skills: Your ability to work with large volumes of data and perform advanced analyses will be vital.
  • 5+ Years of Direct Procurement Experience: Proven experience in direct procurement is a must.
  • A Team Player Mentality: You should be able to work collaboratively and independently to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Adaptability: Comfort in a complex, fast-changing global organizational environment is crucial.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced/Fluent English is necessary for effective communication.

Additional Preferences:

  • Candidates with experience in aerospace or industrial applications are highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of complex products such as castings and forgings will be an added advantage.
  • We are looking for someone who can operate with minimal supervision-a fixer and solution seeker, rather than strictly operational.
